Using these 30 Painless Spelling Practice Activities has really helped a lot of teachers plan their word work centers. Here are some words from teachers who have purchased this resource:
“This resource is amazing! I happened upon it at the best time possible. The pages are easy to edit and I was excited to include them in the packet I put together for the students for doing their work from home while the schools are shut down. So excited about this.” ~ Kathleen D.
“This is absolutely one of the best Spelling Practice resources to help students study. You can use it through distance or print it out in person. I actually use it both ways because our school is on a hybrid schedule where we have students some days and virtual others. Thanks for this resource.” ~ Amanda W.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this resource! But, I have a question….we use Journeys for our Reading, Phonics, and Spelling (ELA) Curriculum. Our word lists grow in 1st grade throughout the year. I usually do 10 1st Quarter-ish then go up to 12 for the 2nd and 3rd, and finally around 16-20 for the last quarter…depending on the year and that group of students. So, I have only bought packets like this for ones that can up to at least 20 words…and they’re great for sight word practice, too. Is that available?? Or do you have…can you make it where that’s possible or something like it….fingers crossed ( 😉 lol)?? Thanks…if not then I totally understand…just curious!! And btw…I do LOVE all your stuff and APPRECIATE all you do/make for teachers because we are STRUGGLING right now!!!
Hi Natalie! So, I think that we have you covered. 😉 We have a 10-word option for your first quarter and also a 12-word option for your 2nd/3rd quarters. For the 4th quarter, I recommend using our 10-word option and making two word list sets (either 8/8 or 10/10) and then printing them out and copying them front-to-back for your students. I hope that this makes sense and helps you out. 😊
I did not get my download for the 30 painless spelling packet.

Can you have more than 10 words on a list?
Hi Dawn! Yes, we have a 12 word option as well, and if you have 15 or 20 words, we recommend using the 10 word option and making two lists (either a 8/7 or 10/10) and then printing front to back. 😊
