If you follow my blog and TPT Store, you know that I always tie tons of information and reading into my lessons. I do not like tons of fluffy stuff because I feel like kids miss out so much when they are spending time doing the activities.
I love these because I can still do fluffy stuff with them, but I can say that they read (or we read together) to find the information about how each country celebrates their holiday! I have included a mini-book packed with information about each country, highlighting holiday traditions and customs.
But don’t take my word for it! Hear from the thousands of teachers who already own this resource!
“My kids were blown away with the things they learned from this resource last year!” -J.W.
“I am always looking for hands-on resources that increase comprehension and expand world views, and I am excited to add this to our resources this year!” -Jayson B.
“This was a lot of fun to use around Thanksgiving and Christmas time. You can use it whole class or put students in to groups to share the work. So many ways to use this product.” -S.S.
“I have used this for the past 2 years and my kids LOVE IT!” -Saadia G.

I also included the black line masters for all of you out there like me that don’t like replacing your color ink cartridge all the time;) As you celebrate your Holidays Around the World Unit, have the kids write about everything they learned from each country!
I have also included graphic organizers for those kiddos that need to organize their thoughts first before writing. You will also love the passports I have created. It is super simple, and each kid gets one. As they go through the countries, I just let them color each stamp. When they finish, they can take their passport home to tell their parents where they went.
