Making New Words with “E”

This “Making New Words with “E” ” center is a part of the May Centers Bundle!

It’s time to have a little fun! Students will see how the meaning of words change by simply adding an e to the end of the word! You could have them draw the words or you could use these mats so they can easily see how the meaning changes with different CVC/CVCe words!

RF.1.3.C: Know final -e and common vowel team conventions for representing long vowel sounds.
