Shhhhh… I have a little secret.  To be honest, I was never a huge podcast guy.  I constantly have music playing in the background and during my commute to work.  In my mind, I would rather jam out and sing along than listen to some random person talk on and on.  Yes, I am THAT person. I’m drumming, singing, and dancing in my car when you pull up beside me.

Friends of mine keep telling me things like “Try out this podcast”, or “Oh my goodness, you would LOVE this episode”.  I finally caved. I tried out some podcasts and now I am hooked!

Oh my goodness, what in the world was I waiting for!?!  They were nothing like I originally thought there were.  They were engaging, informative and I felt like some of these people were my friends sitting down having a conversation with me over coffee.  I was so wrong with my initial thoughts on podcasts!

What do you think about podcasts?  Do you have some favorites you listen to?   I put together 15 Teacher Podcasts You’ll Want to Listen To!  Most of the descriptions are pulled directly from their podcast page.  There are definitely some of my go-to’s as well as some of our Teaching Trailblazers’ favorites on this list from Education to the Core’s Facebook Groups: Fearless Kindergarten Teachers, Fearless First Grade Teachers, Fearless Second Grade Teachers
