1. Vionics Shoes
These comfortable and stylish shoes may be a little expensive, but teachers swear by the arch support and cushioning of these shoes. Not only do they offer proper alignment for your foot but they also help to provide relief from foot ailments such as heel pain and plantar fasciitis. So, this brand of shoe was recommended to me by multiple teachers. One even said… “I live in my Danskos! Shoes, sandals, tennis shoes, booties…” I was never one to wear clogs, but these pairs are super cute!
4. Crocs
These shoes are either loved or hated, but don’t completely rule them out! With so many styles and designs to choose from now, you will fall in love with how easy these are to clean in their lightweight, slip-resistant, and waterproof materials. Perfect for classroom floors and wet surfaces, these shoes last forever while providing all-day wearability! And… you’ll get to twin with many of your students these days.
5. Rothy’s
So many different kinds of shoes to choose from. Slip your feet into these washable shoes (yes, I did say washable), and let them take you places in comfort and style. Rothy’s can add the bit of dressy flare you may need when you toss on a cute dress or slacks.
6. Dr. Scholl’s Time Off Sneakers
Teachers tell me that wearing these shoes is like “walking on clouds”. And they are super cute too! I may have to snag a pair for myself. Coming in canvas, or leather in a variety of colors, you can choose the pair that works best with your wardrobe. I love the retro look!
7. Dr. Comfort
If you suffer from diabetes or other foot health issues, these orthopedic shoes can help protect your feet and provide that necessary comfort. Orthopedic shoes have typically been viewed as unattractive and bulky, but Dr. Comfort has brought their sandals, sneakers, and dress shoes to a new level of stylish!
8. Orthofeet

Another shoe that is accepted by the APMA, Alegria shoes has developed their arch and heel support in such a way that every day stress on the legs, hips, and backs of teachers is alleviated. The front toe of the shoes also has a wide toe box that makes room for bunions, corns, and other toe ailments. Perfect for teachers with foot problems!
12. Tieks Shoes
These Tieks are designer flats purposefully designed to fold up and fit in a purse. A flexible creation that has a midsole that specifically molds to the wearer’s feet. Although pricey, these flats offer great shock absorption from those hard classroom floors.

I saw this recommendation from a teacher post and researched immediately! These are casual canvas shoes that can be washed in the washing machine, reasonably priced, and comfortable. They come in boots, sneakers, and loafers with the cutest styles for both men and women!

No list is complete without providing some shoe choices for our male teachers out there. Rockport Men’s line is designed with the idea that everyone needs comfortable shoes that are trendy and not our father’s basic black or brown shoe. These are part of the HotChocolateDesign brand and definitely my favorite in teacher style! The whimsical patterns on their Mary Jane Flats and Pumps are super eye-catching while their footbed and wide toe box styles provide so much comfort. Teachers are becoming addicted to these shoes! We are anxiously waiting for the new patterns to come out this November!
So many great shoe choices were provided by teachers for all of us in the pursuit of the most comfortable all-day shoe. Not to mention they can also be stylish.
