Who wants to bring back centers for students? ??♀️??♂️
I know that I sure do!
Our small group centers are going to have to take on a whole new look. Our students aren’t going to be able to “share” materials right now, or rotate through hands-on centers practicing math and literacy skills. But we also don’t want them in class doing paper pencil practice, or holding a tablet all day either. And, if I have to have 25 sets of a center, they need to be NO PREP! How do we solve this?
The dilemma of giving our students and children hands-on learning right now is a big one! But, I think that I may have a solution for you… TA-DA!!! – Individual Hands-On Centers for Primary Students
Individual Hands-On Centers for Primary Students
We have created a variety of Individual Hands-On Centers for Primary Students that practice a wide range of math and literacy skills. And BONUS… they only use one kind of manipulative! You simply print the activities you want your students to practice, add in the needed manipulative, and either hand to the student in class, or send home to practice.
Here are our resources!

I am really looking forward to using these Individual Hands-On Centers with my students. So many of our kiddos are tactile learners, and distance learning has been a detriment and frustration for them. This way, we are again meeting their needs, and staying safe while doing it.
As I stated above, putting these centers together is going to be very easy. They are NO PREP!!! Print out the activities you want the students to practice, put them in a ziplock bag and add in the needed manipulative(s). You can have your students use them in class (traditional model), send home during home learning (hybrid model), or as part of their take home packets (distance learning).
