Decodable Passages w/ Reading Comprehension

I love Education to the Core and have many of their products. I bought this resource to use in small group and probably still will, but was disappointed when I tried to find consonant blends and realized they are not a focus. It jumps straight to digraphs (which include blends in the stories). There are also elements that will need explaining, like when you see "c-u-t" you should read it as spelling out the word--a concept my first graders won't really understand, or words like 'Congo'.
I wish when a product is labeled 'decodable', it would be reliably so.

These passages are great to use for extra practice especially as they cover a range of comprehension skills.
